Immortal - Episode 11

"Sora ya! It's already 830. You're not going to work?" Yeon Seok called for Sora while rushingly heading to her room as soon as he woke up. His head is feeling heavy over the alcohol that he drank last night.

"Ya Kang Sora!" He stormed in only to find her empty room. He look around it. "Ahh..." He flustered. Forgotten that Sora has move out from the house yesterday. "Babo.." He hit his head. Angry at himself for still not accepting the reality even after bottles of alcohol that went down his throats yesterday.

Slowly he walk down the stairs of their house. Flashes of memories with Sora surrounding their home came to his mind. Her bright smiles and her laugh listening to his stupid jokes. Everything came at once. "Sora ya.. What is this longing feeling..." he talks to himself. Sadness creeps in. Sighing hardly.

Yeon Seok blankly staring at his patient chart.. He just can't focus a thing today. Luckily there's no surgery scheduled.

"The reading won't be different by just staring at it.." Park Hoon came near to Yeon Seok. He's been out of it today. "Lets go for a coffee break?" He asked.

He sighed. "Sure.." Slowly he nodded. 

"You looks like a man without soul.. You’ve been out of it the whole day." Park Hoon sipping his americano.

"Have you been monitoring me?"

"I'm caring for my team member.." Park Hoon smiled. "Why don’t you talk to her? I know she must be feeling the same like you.." 

"She's the one who insisted on moving out.." Answered Yeon Seok. He knows Park Hoon is talking about their dear friend, Kang Sora.

"Well.. I don't think she can think of any other choice.." He smirked. Both of them are like birds of a feather flock together. Both are hard headed.

"What do you mean?" Trying to understand the meaning behind Park Hoon's words.

"Talk things out with her and then you'll know. I don’t want to become your middle man.." he laughed.

"She's stubborn. The hell she will come clean with me.." Yeon Seok sighed. Sipping his hot latte. He knows Sora well. She's good in hiding her feelings.

"Have you tried it before? Talk things seriously with her?"

Yeon Seok is shaking his head. Never in their life. He’s always insecure when talks about his feeling with Sora. He tried it once and he promised not to fool himself anymore.

Park Hoon sneered. "You.. Obviously need to come clean with you heart too.."

"Seriously.. What are you trying to say?" Agitated with Park Hoon's double meaning words.

"You know what I mean.." He's short.

"That's impossible" Yeon Seok laughed it off. "I'm just being used to having her around. Being alone make me feels lonely.. I’ll get used to it sooner or later.." Trying to deny his own feelings.

"Are you sure? It never bothers you that she might move out because of other man?" Facing him closer.

"Well.. I do think that way at first. But seeing you talk to me like this, I guess that is not actually the reason.." He talks with relieves. Yes, he does feels relieves a bit knowing that.

"So you does give it some thought.." Park Hoon is shaking is head while crossing his arms. He can see the insecurity in Yeon Seok's eyes, and yet he still trying to deny his feeling. Obviously that man need a wake-up call.

"Hmm?" Trying to understand Park Hoon metaphors talk once again.

"You know my feelings towards her.. Perhaps I should starts my aggressive moves?" Park Hoon threaten.

"Aggressive?" Yeon Seok frowned.

Park Hoon sneered. "Don’t pretend like you’re that innocent.." He left their conversation leaving Yeon Seok to starts reeling his feeling. 

"What exactly is this.." He's confused.

He looked at Sora from outside of the room. She seems indulged with the book it front of her. Staring at it as if she's going to eat it. Her and books are friends that can never separated.

"Ehem.." Yeon seok approaching her but she didn’t budge.

"EHEM!" Stronger and louder.

Surprised seeing Yeon Seok is besides her, Sora turned to wipe off her wet eyes. Removing any balance of tears.

"Ya.. Why are you.." Yeon Seok looked at her eyes..

"What are you doing here?" Sora cut him off. Want to divert the topic.

"Just came here to see you.." He dragged a chair and sits in front of her. “How’s your new house?"

"It's fine.." Sora short. Not comfortable when Yeon Seok keep staring at her.

"Do you need anything for your house? I'll buy it for you.." Trying to keep their conversation without any awkwardness.

"It’s okay.. The house is complete. No need to buy me anything.." She's faking a smile.

"When are you going to invite me to your house then?" Asked Yeon Seok.

Sora looked at him with a questioned look.

"Housewarming.. Aren’t you going to do that?" Explaining his intention.

"No I'm not.. I don’t think we ever do that.." Sora looked at him pouting his lips

"Are you going to be okay alone in that house?" Question after question thrown. None hooked for long. What is happening to their relationship. He thought to himself.

"I'll be fine. Park Hoon live near to my house.."

Yeon Seok sneered listening to Park Hoon's name. "You must be lucky to have a friend like him right? Why don't you just move in together with him? Why bother living in a different house?" He's being cynical again.

"Should I?" Sora's rubbing more salt.

"Why not.. Just move in his house already. Aggressively.." he said before storm out of the room. 

"Aggressively?" She frowned. Leaving her to wonder what had happened. Where does the words came from?

Yeon Seok went to his room and started flipping his documents. "Park Hoon.. You parasite!"

He look at those scattered documents in front him. "What is this feeling?" He sat on his desk. "Am I being jealous?" Thinking through about his feeling. Its a feeling that he believed he has buried a long time ago.

"Come clean with your feelings too.." Park Hoon's words suddenly came to his mind.

"Nah.. That can't be.." debating with his inner self. He took his stethoscope and went for a walk. Taking a breather.

"Sunbaenim! You look handsome today!" Kim Min Guk came to greet his senior.

"What is it?" Yeon Seok sneered. There must be something else on his junior mind. He never gives out compliment for free. He must be fishing for something.

"I heard Kang Sora sunbaenim and that new guy.." He pauses, looking at Yeon Seok first. Checking the weather.

"Bundae?"

"They have something going on right?" Throwing the rumors as he heard. 

Yeon Seok looked at him. "Why don't you asked her yourself?" Cold.

"Eyyy.. You know Sora sunbaenim can be scary at times."

"And I’m not?"

"You're cooler.." He chuckles.

"I don't know about them.." Continue his walk. Not a question that he want to pay much attention with.

"I thought you're her best friend..?"

"We didn’t share those sort of things.." he said. Throughout the years they are together, now he realized that Sora never shared her heart matters with him while she always listen to his. And lately it seems that Sora is been all weird and keeping her feeling to herself too much. Making him to give a distance in their friendship too.

"Speaking of the devil.." Min Guk looked at Kang Sora busy checking her patient in a room across them.

Yeon Seok looked at where his juniir is looking at. Sora looks occupied with her job. Doesn't seems to even bothered with their bickering earlier.

"Sora ya~" Park Hoon came with his aegyo. "You’re not going home yet?" He asked.

Sora looked at him. Smiled looking at his behavior. "I have another floor to round. You can go back first.." she suggested.

"Should I wait? I can join you too.." Park Hoon is taking a glance at Yeon Seok. He is watching. He knows.

"Anieya.. I could be late. Just go back first.."

"Okay then.. " He pouts. “Let me know when you’re going home later ya!" Patting her hair.

"Arasso..” She smiled looking Park Hoon walking away and started her walk to her other patient.

"Kang Sora sunbaenim.." Min Guk entering the room, walk nearer to her.

"Oh.. Min Guk shhi.." She looked at him. Realized Yeon Seok is standing near the door. "I heard you were looking for me?" She asked.

"Oh? Eo.." he scratches his head.

"Waeyo?"

"Emm.. I heard you were looking to fill in an ER tonight? I have a personal matter that I need to attend to. Can you replace me?" Hoping for her to agree.

Yeon Seok walks nearer to them. "Why did you ask to fill in for an ER?" He asked. Those jobs are normally for juniors unless it is scheduled.

"Oh.. That.." pretending to check her phone. Ignoring Yeon Seok's question " Min Guk, can I call you later about this? I have to attend to my patient first. Urgent.." She's signaling with her phone and rush for her not-so-real-call. She didn’t want to talk about it in front of Yeon Seok. She knows Yeon Seok would be wondering the reason for her to ask to work extra hours.

"She's asking for it?" Yeon Seok turned at Min Guk after his question ignored by Sora.

"Eo.. I heard so. I thought of having some times off with my fiancé.." He sighed. Seems like he can’t go for his date tonight.

Yeon Seok looked at Sora who's walking far away from them. Leaving him to worries about her again.

Yeon Seok walk to Sora's office to found her having a nap on her table. He went closer. "Sora ya.." softly touches her long wavy hair.

Slowly she open her eyes.. Looking up to Yeon Seok. "What are you doing here?"

Grabbing a chair to seat near her. "What’s happening? I heard that you're filling up for ER for the whole two weeks. Are you okay?"

"I am.. Don’t worry..“ She tried to smile. But her head are too heavy to stay awake. Being able to sleep only 2 hours a day for 2 weeks in a row has now impacted her.

He take a look at her eyes. "You know what about being a vampire? You can't lie when you get sick.."

Sora turn away from him. "I'm okay.. You don’t have to worry about me" still insisting that she's okay. She got up from her seat.

Yeon Seok grabbed her hands making her facing him again.  "We have been taking care of each other for a decade. Why are you behaving like this now? First you're moving out from the house. Now you want to distance yourself from me? Did I do something wrong Sora ya?"

"No you’re not.."

"Then what is it? Tell me.." 

 "I feel suffocated.." Sora trying to brush off his hand off her wrist but he grab it tighter.

"What do you mean? What is happening? Let me know.." Yeon Seok looked at her teary eyes. He went closer. What exactly going on with her. He really didn't have any clue.

“Stop coming to me carelessly..” She pushes him.

“Ya Kang Sora.. Why are you keeping me in the dark? Can you let me know so that I can understand this situation better?” Yeon Seok grabbed her shoulder, forcing her to face him again.

She looked straight to his eyes. "I told you to stop coming to me carelessly." She tried pushes him away but his big built stand firm. Sora sighed. "What if I said I feel suffocated because I like you too much? From the time when we are still mortals, I like you. How are you going to react with it?"

"Ya Kang Sora.. what... what are you saying?" Yeon Seok stuttering. He looked at her. Wondering if that is a question or a confession.

Slowly Yeon Seok sat on the table. What exactly Sora is trying to say? All along he thought Sora never love him. All along he thought that Sora is falling for Park Hoon. Not him. Confused with what he just heard.

Sora sneered looking at his expression. "I knew it.." she said as she's taking her steps out from the room. Tearing up as she walks further. No, it’s not easy to contain those feelings anymore. She has reached her limit.

"Sora ya.. I didn't.." he lift up his head, wanted to talk things through with her but she has left the room. "Kang Sora!" He's running to look for her. He searched every possible place but Sora wasn't there.

"What happened?" Park Hoon bumped onto Yeon Seok with his worried face. Searching for something.

"Sora.. I'm looking for Sora.."

"I thought she’s going home? I saw her heading to the car park earlier. What happened?" He concerned. Yeon Seok worried face seems like a storm just came.

"I'll talk to you later.." Says Yeon Seok while running to the car park getting his car.

"Her car is still here.." Yeon Seok realized that her red Ferrari is still at the parking lot. "Where die she go?" He thought as he walks nearer to her car.

"Sora ya.." he looked at her burying her face in her knee hug.

She closes her eyes and wipe off her tears. Agitated that Yeon Seok found her here. She just want to hide and be alone now. Her head is too heavy to drive.

She got up and open her car door.

"Kang Sora.." He hold her door. "We need to talk.."

"There's nothing more to talk about. You expression tells it all. Just pretend that you didn't listen to it.." Sora didn’t even face him. No, she can't face him.

"I can't.." He grabbed her from the car door and close it. "I can't pretend to unheard it.." 

Slowly her vision is getting blurry. The world is spinning fast. Suddenly it felt like her body swung.

"Sora ya!" Yeon Seok catches her from falling. Hold her up on his arms and take her into the car. "You stupid girl.." He looked at her. Worried.

Slowly she open up her eyes looking at her surrounding. A room that she's familiar with. Its her old room.

"You woke up?" Yeon Seok relieved looking at her now. She's been sleeping well for the past 5 hours.

"Mm..” slowly she got up and lean against the headboard. Her heads feels lighter.

"Why do you have to torture your body just because you can't sort out your feelings?" Yeon Seok mocked her behavior. She always good at making him worried.

Sora frowned. "I'm doing just fine. Why do you have to worry about me?" She stared at him. Pissed off.

"Of course I have to worry about you.." Yeon Seok cupped her hands. "Sora ya.. Please don't do this again. I feel bad seeing you like this.." he knows she turned like this because of him.

"I'm okay.. so you can just stop worrying about me" she tried to pull her hands but Yeon Seok hold it tighter.

"How can I do that? How can I not worried about the person that I cared the most.." Yeon Seok pulled her hands nearer to his chest.

Sora frowned. Trying to digest his words.

"About earlier.." Yeon Seok looked at her.

Sora cringed her teeth. "Lets not talk about it anymore.." She didn't want to hear to any of his words.

"Anie.. we need to talk about it.." He moved closer to her and cupping her cheek. "Cause I been in love with you too.."

Sora's eyes widened. Shocked. Did she hear it correctly?

"I've been in denial all this while. I've been too comfortable securing you by my side. I realized that I can’t live without you. I realized that my love for you was always there... I just kept it deep inside.. Somewhere that is safe enough so that it won't hurt me again.."

"Yeon Seok ah.." she touches his hand on her cheek. How foolish they are to suffered all this while because of their ego. Her tears falls down.

Yeon Seok move closer to her and give her a hug. "If only we opened up about our feelings earlier.."

"After this.. Please do not keep anything to ourself. Let’s face everything together. Lets share all our feelings together"

Sora nodded. She’s lost her words. Can't help to tear up over her happiness.

Yeon Seok looked at her and wipe off her tears. "I'm sorry that this eyes are tearing because of me.." he kissed her eyes and continue to embrace her in his hug.

Sora tightens her arms around his waist. Enjoying the embrace. Suddenly she pushed him remembering about something.

"Hmm?" Yeon Seok wonders.

"What are you going to do with Mok Ji Won?" She is sure they haven't break up.. Yet.

"Oh?" He scratches his head. He forgot about that one. "I'll break up with her soon. Just stay together with me.." he extended his hug again but Sora avoid it.

"I'm not buying that.." She’s getting off the bed.

Yeon Seok hugged her from behind. "Give me time to handle this one. Okay?" He kisses her temple. 

Sora turned to look at him. 

“Do you trust me?” Yeon Seok looked deeply into her eyes.

Sora smiled.

Yeon Seok relieved looking at that smile. It’s the smile that he hasn’t seen for long. The smile that he missed. He hugs her again. "I love you Kang Sora.." he whispered to her ears.

“I love you too... Yoo Yeon Seok..” Sora tightens her arms around his waist.

Immortal - Episode 10

"You're still not feeling better?" Yeon Seok looked at Sora who just came down from her room, still wearing a pajamas.

She shakes her head. "I'm taking a leave today.."

"Huh? Why" He's went closer to her. Sora never takes leave. Looking at her eyes, she seems better than yesterday.. "Are you still feeling sick anywhere?

"Anieya.. I promised Park Hoon to accompany him looking for a house.." She walk to the fridge to look for her breakfast.

He looked at Sora. "Is something happened last night?" He thought to himself.

"Yaa.. Looking at your progress now, I think you'll move to his house soon.." He's trying to pull her leg.

"You think so?" Sora faking a giggles to his words.

"For real?" He asked back. His eyes widened. It feels like a stab in his heart listening to Sora's words.

"Waeyo? Mok Jiwon would love to hear that I’m moving out. Isn't she?" Cynical.

"I've told you that I'll never agree with her request. We have our promise. But if this is your decision, then I don't have any reason to stop you." Yeon Seok toughen up. It will break his heart if Sora really decided to move out after all these years they're being together. He knew that. But he can’t just stop her using their promise as a reason all over again.

"That's right.. You don't have too. I'm still thinking about it concerning about you. But talking to you now.. I guess, moving out is not a bad decision after all. Isn't it?" Sora is still fishing out his feeling.

"Just do what your heart feels right.." Yeon Seok taking a look at her before walked out from the house with a heavy heart. Will he be okay living apart from her after all this while? He thought to himself.

Sora’s staring at the door soon as he left. "My heart are dying to stay. But your heart is closed.." Holding her tears well. The pain that build up is too much for her to bear. She needs a gateway. A way to escape from the feeling.

The door bell rings. Sora look at the wall clock. It’s already 10am. Taking a deep breath while slowly walks the door.

"Park Hoon shhi.. You're early.." trying hard to paint a smile on her face.

"You're still not ready? Our appointment is at 11am.." Looking at beautiful Sora even in her pajamas. Followed her into the house.

"I'm getting ready now. Can you wait for a little while?" She asked.

"Dae.." He answered as his eyes is following her climbing up the stairs to her room. Leaving him alone at the living room. He realized a slice of lean meat left on kitchen island. "She didn’t have breakfast yet?" Went to the kitchen and rolling up his sleeve.

"Sorry to keep you waiting.." Sora went down to the living room later to find Park Hoon is in the kitchen. "Oh? What are you doing Park Hoon shhi?"

"You must not have your breakfast yet. Right?" He come out to the dining table with a plate of cooked beefsteak. "I'm not sure your preference, but I make it medium rare. Will it be okay for you?"

"Of course it’s okay.." she smiled looking at that man's manner. Sitting down for her meal. "I'll enjoy it well.." Looked at Park Hoon before started digging her meal. Warm feeling filling up her heart.

"Eat it slowly.." Park Hoon satisfied.

"The apartment that you wanted to view.. How far is it from the hospital?" Sora asked after few while.

"Not that far.. Why?"

"I need to start looking for one too.." She said while taking a bite to another piece of meat.

"Eyy.. You have this beautiful condo why did you want to move to another house?" Trying to figure out behind her smiles.

"Just feels like living alone. I've been living with Yeon Seok for too long. And it’s not like we're married.. I need to learn to be independent"

Park hoon looked at her trying to remain her calmness. He still remembered what Sora has told him last night. He knows she has falls deeply in love with Yeon Seok after their years of living together. And he knows its not going to be easy to live separately at this stage. When you've become too attached to each other.

"Let’s just take a look at a few.. In case you really made up your mind." Park Hoon suggested. "Think it over carefully Sora. You've live together for so long. Depending on each other. I don’t think it’s easy to handle what's in here.." pointing to her heart.

Sora hold his pointing fingers. "This heart are frozen long time ago. Nothing that is too complicated to handle here." She's faking a smile again. She knows her love to Yeon Seok has been sealed in her heart before they became immortal. It is frozen with her heart. There’s no way to unsealed that. There's no way to undo it. She just kept liking and loving him from afar.

"Is this all that you're going to bring?" Park Hoon is helping Sora to packing up her things before moving. 

Sora nodded. Looking around her room. After 2 months thinking it through, she has decided. It’s the best for both her and Yeon Seok for now. They will always be in contact in supporting their life. In the end of the day, they will still need each other. They can't deny that.

"I'll bring this down first.." told Park Hoon taking a medium size bag with him. Seeing Sora in a dazed. She must have been in a deep thought. He thought to himself.

"Eo" She's short. Looking around her rooms and caressing her bed. "So this is really a goodbye now.." She whispered.

"Do you really need to say goodbye?" Yeon Seok came to her room.

"Yeon Seok ah.. You're home?" Someone that she didn't want to say goodbye to has appeared before her eyes now.

Yeon Seok taking a glance at her dresser. Most of her dress are now gone. "You really do it seriously this time around.." Yeon Seok looked at her. Its hard for him to let her go. 

"Should I really go?" Sora got up and face him. Wanted to hear the last bit of hope from him to hold her from moving out.

Yeon Seok frowned looking at her. Trying to read the meaning behind those words. What is it?

"This house really gotten emptier now.." Mok Jiwon came in her room, looking at that big empty room that she's going to leave behind.

Sora looked at Yeon Seok's girlfriend who's been trailing him anywhere lately. "No.. There's definitely no space for me in your heart.." Sora thought to herself. She sighed and looked down the floor. Trying hard to hold back her tears.

"I need to make my move now. Park Hoon is waiting for me.." Sora look at Yeon Seok again. Giving herself the last chance hoping for Yeon Seok to hold on to her.

Yeon Seok is staring at her eyes. It seems that those eyes are trying to communicate with him, but he couldn't decrypt the messages.

"Live well in your new home Kang Sora Shhi.." said Mok Jiwon. Now the obstacle between her and Yeon Seok are gone. Smiling.

Sora plainly smiled back to her. Slighly bow to them before walking out of the room..

"Sora.." Yeon Seok hold her hands before she walks further. "This room.. I'll keep it for you. Just come whenever you wanted to come.." He said to her, trying hard to accept the reality. Sora's decision has obviously given a big lump in his heart.

Sora looked at him. He is not letting her go. Neither has he held her from going. "See you around.." slowly pulling her hand off him with a smile on her face. A crafted smile to show that she’s okay with this decision.

Yeon Seok looked at her walking away. Leaving the empty room behind. Leaving his heart feeling empty too. That friend of his...

"I never thought it was this hard for you to let go of your good friend.." Jiwon is hugging her from behind.

Forgot that Jiwon is also in the room. Yeon Seok pulled her hands off his waist and turn to her. "I told you she's a family.." not really in the good mood now seeing the person that he wanted to hold so much leaving.

"Should we start our own real family now?" Jiwon looked at him. Informally proposing to him.

Yeon Seok frowned. Never expected a proposal from a woman. "We're still new with our relationship. Don't you think?" A year plus, of course it is considered new for him. Comparing his relationship with Sora.

"Don't you ever think of our future?" Jiwon pouts.

Yeon Seok smirked. No. He never think of one. He knows his relationship with any human is just temporary.

"Oppa!" Jiwon hits his shoulder. Looking at Yeon Seok face, its obvious that he didnt see any future with her.

"Isn't it fun like this?" Yeon Seok grabbed her waist.

"No it's not!" Jiwon let her go from Yeon Seok's hand. Storming out of the house. She thought Yeon Seok would have been head over heels about her right now. Especially when she saw he bid her good friend goodbye from his house. Obviously her expectation are too big.

Yeon Seok let Jiwon go with her emotion. He's not interested to chase after her right now. His head are still messed up with the fact that Sora is moving out from their house today.

He looked around the room. Sora's scent is still lingering in the room. Taking his deep breath. "I started to miss you Kang Sora.." He whispered.

Sora looked at the new apartment she’s moving in. It is complete with top notch furnitures. Bringing luxurious look to the house. A house that she carefully decides on the interior designs and fitting.

"You sure knows how to spend your money well.. why do you need this big house when you just plan to live here alone?" Park Hoon left her luggage in her new room and join her in the living room. A big spacious duplex condominium with spacious living room too.

Sora smiled not answering to the question. Money. It is something that never bothered her and Yeon Seok. They've been gaining and saving a lot from their past life.

"I need to change.." Sora got up from her couch heading to her room but stopped by Park Hoon.

"Huh?"

"I'm going now. Please take your rest.."  He pats her shoulder. He knows Sora has been in a deep thought since leaving the house. She need her time alone to settle down her heart matters. It is that hard for her.

"Ae.." Sora slowly nodded. Looking at Park Hoon leaving the house.

She’s looks around her. Feeling empty. "Yoo Yeon Seok.. Do you miss me?  Cause I miss you badly.." Her tears eventually falls.

Immortal - Episode 9

Sora is taking a look at her patient’s vital reading. "You're getting better now In Ha shhi. You'll be discharged by tomorrow.." she smiled. Her patient recovery after each surgery always give her happiness. Another life is spared.

"Thank you so much doctor. I can't repay you enough.." the husband of the patient is thanking her.

"You have a very good husband.." she said to her patient.

She smiled hearing to Sora's compliment.

"I can't live without her. I'd rather my life being taken instead.." tears gathers in his eyes. Still holding it up from falling down. His tears of happiness.

"Aigoo.. Why are you saying that? I'm not going anywhere yeobo. I live a long life thanks to our doctor.." she said while cupping her husband's hands.

Sora smiled looking at their lovely interaction. Slowly leaving them in the room. Their conversation makes her remember what Yeon Seok has done because of her.

Flashback

"Turn me into a vampire too.. Here... bit me." Yeon Seok closed his eyes and showing his long neck. Tempting Sora.

"You're insane..." She looked away. No. She can't simply take away that man's precious life just because she can't live alone in her new world.

"Sora ya.. I've promised that I'll stay together with you whatever it takes. I can't stay with you unless I've become like you too...”

"This is not a joke Yeon Seok ah... Stop talking nonsense. Enough that I suffer alone...”

"Why don’t you understand this? I'd do anything for you. Just let me be by your side.."

"Yoo Yeon Seok stop it! Enough with this. I've decided." She said while walking away from him.

"I decide with my own life. Not you.." he said as he take a knife and cut his palm and make a cut on Sora's palm too. He grabbed her injured hands with his.

"Yoo Yeon Seok!!!" She pulled off her hands as her eyes widen looking at him.

He hold his palm in pain. The virus started to spread to his body system fast.

"Kang Sora.." his voice is getting weaker. Trying to grab something on his side to prevent him from falling.

"What are you doing??!" She take a look at his palm. His body started to produce cold sweat. The phase happened too fast just like how she was infected before. "No this can't be.." The injury in his hand slowly healed by itself. "You stupid.." Sora stumbled on the floor. No. This can't be happening.

Yeon Seok sat on the floor facing her. Gritting his teeth fighting the pain. "Sora ya.. I've promised to go through this together with you.. Promised me that you'll stay with me too.." he hugged her.

She hit his arms. "You stupid! How can you treat your life carelessly.." she cried. She just can't believe what Yeon Seok has done for her sake. She can never look at him without any guilty feeling anymore. This is all happening because of her.

"What are you doing here?" Park Hoon who just came back from seeing his patient bumped into Sora in front of their department.

"Oh?" She surprised looking at Park Hoon and then realized she's standing in front of Thoracic Department, the department where both Yeon Seok and Park Hoon is located. "Why did my leg bring me here?" She whispered.

"What is it?" Park Hoon couldn’t hear clearly what she said.

"Anieya.. I'm just passing by.." she smiled while taking a glance at Yeon Seok's room. It's empty. Perhaps he went to check for his patient too. She thought to herself.

"Want to grab a coffee? I need some break.." Asked Park Hoon. Massaging his stiff neck. Thoracic department is having heavy case this month. It’s hard for them to take even a day break.

"Sure.." Sora agreed. Following Park Hoon to the coffee house. She needs her morning break too.

"Oppa.. Stop bothering me. Just eat yours!" Jiwon is securing her meal from being stole by Yeon Seok.

"Ahh wae.. Yours is good.." he teases. "Should we swap?" He giggles.

"Andwae! Eat yours.." Jiwon pouts.

"Arasso.. I won't steal your food again.." pinching her cute cheek.

"Oh.. Yeon Seok is here too.." Park Hoon looked at the two lovely couple having some fun at the corner seat of the cafe.

She looked at them.

"Should we sit with them? Park Hoon asked. Sora is shaking her head.

"Why?" He asked.

"I.." she stopped. Feeling unbalance.

"Are you okay?" Park Hoon hold her arms.

"Let’s just seat here.." she suggested. Immediately taking a seat nearest to her. Closing her eyes for a bit.

"You doesn’t seems well..?" Park Hoon worried. He knew well about her 'sickness'. But he never sees her getting sick.

"I'm okay.. Maybe because I didn't have my breakfast yet." she plainly smiled.

After stop taking the bloodwine as Yeon Seok asked her to, she occasionally having a mild headache. Perhaps her body is trying to re-adjust with her new diet again.

"Let’s order then.." Without further due, he is looking for the waitress. "Here please.."

Yeon Seok looked at the familiar voice. He's right that it's Park Hoon. He then looked at the woman in front him. He sighed.

"Oh.. Its Kang Sora shhi.." Jiwon realized Sora’s presence in the coffee house. "Who's the handsome doctor in front of her? Is he her boyfriend?" She asked.

Yeon Seok pretending like he just saw her. "Is he?" He thought to himself. It's a question that he himself wasn't sure of the answer.

"He's so handsome. They look good together.." Jiwon taking a glance at Yeon Seok who's been ignoring her words and stuffing himself with foods again. "She's busy with her boyfriend now. No wonder she rarely join us recently.."

Yeon Seok looked at his watch. "Jiwon ah.. It’s time for me to get back to work."

"Ok oppa.. I'll go meet dad first before going home." She look for her phone. Calling her dad.

Yeon Seok looked at her as she's calling her dad - Mok Ji Hwan who is the head of orthopaedic specialist at the hospital Yeon Seok work at. Taking a glance at Sora.

"Tell me when you're not feeling well. You're pale.." Park Hoon put up his hand on Sora's forehead.

Sora is avoiding it. Not comfortable. "I'm okay.."

Park Hoon sighed. Sora is being Sora. Trying to show that she’s strong in overcoming everything.

"Kang Sora shhi.. Nice to meet you here." Jiwon approaching.

"Hi Jiwon shhi.." She looked at Yeon Seok walking slowly towards them too.

"Having a break?" Yeon Seok asked.

"Eo.." She's short.

"I asked her to accompany me since you wasn't around.." Park Hoon added. His coffee buddy seems to be busy with his girlfriend today.

"I didn't know you have such a handsome boyfriend Sora shhi.. I guess our handsome Yeon Seok oppa has a new competitor now at the hospital" She cutely patting Yeon Seok's cheek. Acting proud with her boyfriend.

"Kamsahamnida.." Park Hoon says. Smiling to the compliment.

Sora looked at Jiwon. Didn’t even bother to deny her claim. And then she’s taking a glance at Yeon Seok again. "Going back to work?" She asked.

"Yes.. I'll be going first. Enjoy the coffee both of you.." Yeon Seok replied as his hand grabbed Jiwon waist. Leading her leaving the coffee house.

Sora's eyes trailing the couple with hard sigh.

"Are you jealous?" Park Hoon asked.

"Why should I?" She sneered.

Park Hoon lifted his shoulder. "It just seems so.." he smiled while sipping his coffee.

Sora looked at a bag of blood in front of her. Trying to restrain herself. The after effect of those blood wine is taking its effect now. Yeon Seok is right. She's still addicted after all.

She dialed Yeon Seok's number but he didn’t pick up. "He must be having an operation now.." She sat in front of her desk. Looking at her blood veins turning blue. Traces of cold sweat felt on her forehead.

"Sora.." a hand reaching her shoulder.

"Park Hoon.." Her voice shivers.

Park Hoon looked a bag of blood in front of her and her pale-white skin "What happened?"

"It’s better for you not to be here.." Hiding her shivering hands. She's been noticing her symptom during the surgery that she performed earlier. Barely manage to get out of the operation room. Now, the smell of Park Hoon's fresh blood is giving her harder time.

"I'm going crazy.." She whispered while get up from her chair. Thinking of getting home.

"Sora.. You need to fight it.." Park Hoon hold her arms.

She turned to him with a fiery red eyes.. "Should I just quench my thirst with yours?" Moving her nose near his neck. Sniffing his bloodfume.

Clenching his teeth. "Do as you please.." He replied.

Sora looked at him. Smirk. "You stupid human.." She whispered. Moving her fangs near his blood veins.

"I love you Kang Sora.." Park Hoon whispered back, making her to stop. She looked at his eyes. No, he's not lying.

"I love you.. Do as you please.." Park Hoon is saying it again.

"Stop it.." Sora pushes him. "How can you love a monster.." Gripping the table side hardly. Fighting her instinct.

"Deep inside you are a human.. A lovely woman whom I fall in love with.." Park Hoon came near her.

Park Hoon looked at her. "Sora.. You are better than this.." He looked at her face is turning blue.

"Don't.." Sora grabbed his hand before stumbled on the floor.

"Sora!" Park Hoon fast in catching her ice cold body. She fainted.

"What happened?" Yeon Seok who just finish his surgery went to look for Sora after seeing her missed calls later to find Park Hoon is holding her on the floor.

"She's turning into ice" Park Hoon answered.

Yeon Seok run to Sora checking her eyes. It’s a color that he never seen before. He then looked at Park Hoon's neck. There's a scratch of fang marks on him.

"You let her bit you?" Yeon Seok asked.

"Huh?"

"There's blood marks on your neck.." Yeon Seok look at it again. It’s definitely a fresh marks caused by a fang. "Don’t you feel any pain?" Yeon Seok asked again. He's been suspecting one thing.

Park Hoon put his hand on his neck. A trace of blood is there. But he didn't feel any pain. "No.." He answered.

Yeon Seok sighed. It means Sora is sucking back the venom before it effect Park Hoon. Explains the color of her eyes. Explained the reason why she fainted.

"I need to bring her home immediately.." Yeon Seok lift her up, heading to his Lamborghini with Park Hoon trailing him behind.

Slowly Sora is opening her eyes to see a bag of transfused blood on her one side, and Park Hoon sleeping on the other side. Watching around. Seems that she’s home.

She look for a fang mark on his neck. She almost done the worst thing to that guy. Checking his temperature and it seems normal. She sighed out of relieves.

"You woke up.." a voice heard from the door.

"Eo.." Sora looked at Yeon Seok came in to her room.

"You're fast in taking out your venom. It didn’t give him a slightest pain.." He went nearer to her and look for her eyes. "Are you feeling better now?" Checking her temperature. It’s not as cold as before.

Slowly Sora nodded. "Why is he still here?" Referring to Park Hoon.

"He wanted to wait until you wake up.." Yeon Seok taking the transfusion line off her hand vein. "What had happened?"

"I was in surgery and my body started to shivers looking at blood.." she turn to Yeon Seok with guilty look. "I guess, I am not over my addiction yet.."

"See.. I've told you before. You need to tackle it the right way if you wanted to become a 'vegetarian' like me. I knew it well." He sit on her bedside. He hates to say that he always right. But Sora can be really stubborn sometimes.

"Mianhae.. I'm taking it too lightly.." she looked at her hands. Seems like its gaining some color now after the blood transfusion. Her veins are no longer blue. "I've lost it for a while.. I almost kill him" she looked at Park Hoon who are still in a deep sleep besides her.

"It’s not easy to think straight once you've lost it.." Somehow Yeon Seok impressed with her quick action to take out the venom from Park Hoon.

"I guess my sense woke up over his senseless confession.." she smirked. Park Hoon words are stuck on her head.

"Confession?" Yeon Seok looked at her.

Sora nodded. "I never thought that I'd received such confession from a human.."

Surprised with what he just heard. "I don't think it’s a senseless confession though.." he said to her. Park Hoon has started his move.

"It’s impossible.." Sora looking at Park Hoon again. He can't be in love with a monster like her. No.. That’s totally impossible. She thought to herself.

"Why not?.. You’re falling for it too. Don't you?" Yeon Seok sneered. A complex vampire instinct won’t just stop over a senseless confession as she said. She definitely felt something else.

"No.. It’s impossible. I knew my heart well.." She bit her lips. She knows, for a decade she has been keeping her unrequited love for Yeon Seok. It won't change over one confession. She's sure with that.

Yeon Seok stares at her. "Sora ya.. The last time you decided to become a 'vegetarian', I know there are other reason behind it. Is it because of Park Hoon?" He wanted to know in detail. Somehow he feels curious about the reason behind Sora's decision. He feels curious about the level of their relationship too lately.

Sora looked at him. "This unrequited love.. Should I be open about it now?" She thought to herself.

"Hmm?" Yeon Seok is waiting for her answer.

"Anie.. It’s because of you.." Sora's trying to be honest.

"I'm not kidding now.." he frowned. Shoving the words which he think it's just a joke.

"You're dying to hear my answer right?" Sora smirked.

"Do you think I'm that desperate?" He sneered back.

"Neither am I.." She stuck her tongue out. "No.. I will never let you know my real feelings.." she thought to herself.

"Never mind.. Even though you didn't say it. I know well the reason behind your decision.." He stared at the guy besides her.

"Why bother asking then.. Are you hoping for a different answer?" She looked at him looking at Park Hoon. She knows he must misunderstand something. But she didn't want to correct all those misunderstanding. Perhaps it is better for Yeon Seok to keep thinking that way.

"Whatever.. I'm off to my room now that you're feeling better." He pissed off.

Sora looked at him walking away from her room. "Since we were mortals, until today. I've kept my unrequited love well. I know that I have a cold heart. I know I can’t keep your heart warm as what those mortals offered.." She whispered. A tears went down her eyes.

"Sora.." Park Hoon woke up by cold water which falls on his hand. Surprised seeing those tears on Sora's eyes.

Instantly Sora wipe off her tears.

"Are you sick anywhere?" He asked.

She shakes her head. "It’s just my heart.. It suffocates like hell.." She hold her chest.

"What's wrong Sora ya.." He sits on her bed and cupping her hands.

"It’s so painful to love someone who don't love you.. Isn’t it?" tears started to flow down her cheek again. "I want to die Park Hoon ah.." She look at Park Hoon. Been keeping her unrequited love for so long makes her feeling suffocated.

"I know that feeling well.." Park Hoon pulls her to his arm. He knows Sora wasn't talking about him. He can feel her heart looking at the way she's staring at Yeon Seok every time. "Don't cry.." Trying to calm her down.

Sora push off her body from Park Hoon. "Mianhae.. I guess becoming a 'vegetarian' eventually turning me to a human.." she look at Park Hoon. "It would be nice if I can turn back becoming mortals for real.."

"Syhh.. Don't say that. You're one tough vampire. Why did you talk like a fragile human now.." Caressing her cheek. He has always been admiring Sora's tough image. An image that make he falls for her. Just like how Oh Soo Hyun's image has left an impression to his heart.

"Being those fragile human are more beneficial than being an immortal like me. Human kept their feeling until they die, but for me... There seems no end to it.."

"Don't think about those ridiculous thought anymore.. I love you like this and I will continue to love you the way you are." He kissed her forehead.

"Park Hoon.." She looked at his eyes. It’s the same eyes that she saw that make her instinct stopped earlier. Those genuine eyes.
